Optom runner raises £736 for VCHP

London locum optometrist, Surbhi Joshi, has raised £736 and highlighted the work of Vision Care for Homeless People by running for the charity in the London marathon.

Surbhi was delighted to complete this, her first marathon in under five hours, following weeks of training –

“I chose to support VCHP because I volunteered for Crisis at Christmas, where I tested the eyes of the homeless. It was very apparent that this is a need not just at Christmas but throughout the year, as VCHP knows. I am sure that the money people donate is put to good use at the various clinics around the country.”

Anyone wishing to support the charity via Surbhi should visit the fundraising page.
