Vision Care for Homeless People urges Christmas support

Will Pearce has been appointed co-ordinator for Vision Care for Homeless People and is leading the call to engage optometrists and dispensing opticians to work at this year’s Crisis Christmas optical practices in London.

Will is also the point of contact for the charity’s E-Christmas cards which are an economical and environmentally friendly answer to the cost of sending festive messages –

“Christmas is a time when we can make life changing differences to some of the dispossessed within our society, here, at home. We look to the optical profession to donate a few hours of support at this time of year if they are able to do so – it is a very rewarding experience,” said Will.

The E-Christmas cards, running for the second year, are to be dispatched by Performance Finance, Optisoft, Centre Locum Link and Optique Solutions UK and Tate Adams. To send E-cards yourself follow the link: E-Card
